The aim of this project, carried out at the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago, is to create an electronic study edition of the inscriptions of the Achaemenid Persian kings in Old Persian, Elamite, Akkadian, and, where appropriate, Aramaic and Egyptian. Translations, glossaries, and grammatical indexes are included, as are basic bibliographic information and some text criticism.
